3M Order to Cash Global Rollout

I established the framework and methodology for measuring software reusability for the global rollout of order to cash for 3M. This approach started with better aligning and analyzing business process consistency. By bringing key stakeholders from each regional office (business, IT, Enterprise Architecture) into structured workshops to review and align process and technology, we were able to simplify the complexity of a global application. Limiting unnecessary customizations, complex architectures and disconnected outcomes.

Results:

Global foundation (with probable epics) was established for future strategic build

Partner delivery costs were reduced by $20million as revised cost estimate was more aligned with delivery needs.

Framework was socialized as a best practice at Pega for measuring and calculating software reusability.
